During New York City’s COVID-19 outbreak, the government failed to provide safe shelter and basic goods for the more than 60,000 New Yorkers who don’t have a permanent residence.

In a city held hostage by real estate interests, we spoke with the working class people who have been forced into the streets and into unsafe shelters throughout an unprecedented public health crisis.
