About Us

In a world where mainstream narratives often prioritize the voices of the elite, a unique approach to storytelling emerges. One that places grassroots struggles at the center of every narrative. Each story we create is built on three fundamental pillars: the head, the heart, and the hand. This ensures that those most affected by systemic injustices actively shape the narrative, providing solutions and sharing their lived experiences.

Head – What is the Problem?

Every story begins with identifying the issue at hand. This requires a critical question: What is the problem, and who benefits from it? By analyzing systemic injustices, we identify the oppressed voices that need amplification. The process starts with listening (carefully and thoughtfully) to those who bear the brunt of the challenges.

Heart – People Telling Their Own Stories

Human struggles form the emotional core of every story. Collaboration with grassroots communities is vital, allowing them to articulate their experiences in their own words. This approach ensures authenticity and empowers those at the heart of the story to lead the conversation, rather than being mere subjects of observation.

Hand – What is the Solution?

For every challenge, there exists a vision for change. Solutions to systemic problems are often best understood and defined by those living through them. By highlighting grassroots solutions, these stories become not just tales of struggle but blueprints for change. This approach underscores that meaningful alternatives to systemic oppression already exist and are being built by communities worldwide.

Objective but Not Neutral

While rooted in facts, our stories refuse to shy away from taking a stance against injustice. Neutrality in the face of oppression often serves the status quo, and this approach rejects that notion. Instead, the focus is on covering stories from the perspectives of those who challenge imperialism, ecological destruction, and systemic inequality.

Mainstream narratives often amplify voices of the ruling class (politicians, corporations, and financial institutions). By contrast, these stories prioritize those on the frontlines of struggles for equality, justice, and environmental preservation.

The content creation process is a deeply collaborative effort, involving professional journalists, directors, editors, and designers working hand-in-hand with grassroots communities. These partnerships ensure that the stories are co-created, blending professional expertise with authentic voices from the ground. This approach not only amplifies marginalized voices but also ensures they retain ownership of their narratives.

A Vision for Change

The overarching goal of this work is to connect fragmented struggles into a unified vision of resistance. Each story showcases the ways in which people worldwide are creating their own paths toward equality and self-determination. By highlighting grassroots solutions, these narratives demonstrate that alternatives to systemic oppression are not only possible but are actively being built.

This unique approach to documentary creation offers a powerful reminder: change begins when the voices of the oppressed are heard, their solutions centered, and their struggles respected.
